We weren’t really looking to buy a home the day I called Karen Scott about the Villa, that had boat dock availability, that she had listed. At heart, I’m a girly girl, who gave up all my earthly treasures when we uprooted and moved aboard a 42-foot boat. When I saw the pictures of this home on the Michael Saunders Listing, I just about died. This was a beautiful home, decorated beautifully, in immaculate condition, and it had a small boat dock! Karen returned my call promptly and we agreed on a time to meet at the home. There were a few other homes for sale in Osprey that I had made arrangements for us to see. Unfortunately for my husband, this house was the first one we saw. From the moment Karen opened the door, I had fallen in love, but, I knew, it had to big of a purchase price. Karen was so nice. She answered all Jim’s questions and allowed me to wander through the house and touch everything! Jim is a tough cookie and a hard sell. I think Karen handled him very well. She answered all of his questions, even the tough ones, like, “why is this home so pricey” compared to other properties in this neighborhood? Jim does research. He does not make rash decisions. We left after Karen walked us down to the boat dock and pool. A boat dock, even though our boat won’t fit in it, was a huge deal to us. If we did buy a home in this area, we would be selling our big boat and getting something smaller, so we can continue enjoying our boating life. Karen was so sweet during this period of time. Jim had to continue his research. We knew what we could and couldn’t afford to get ourselves into. Karen, being the sellers' agent, continued to work for us, which I really appreciated, even when Jim finally put an offer on the table. Our new home feels really good and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

We were lucky enough to work with Karen Scott in Venice, FL. Karen came recommended to us by our mother in law. Karen was a wonderful agent. She was patient, did the best to answer all of our questions, and never made us feel pressured. She has gone above and beyond to support us during the purchasing period. Karen also had knowledge of manufactured homes, which was a real asset.
