She enjoys sharing her passions for the arts, boating, education, gourmet cooking, entertaining, remodeling homes, interior design, kayaking, and world travel.
Michelle obtained her real estate license soon after joining Michael Saunders & Company as a staff member in the 1990s. Working hard and assisting others earned her recognition and respect, for which she was afforded incredible opportunities, becoming the new homes representative, guest relations director of Veranda Beach Club on Longboat Key, assistant director of relocation, and production manager to the marketing director.
Ready to assist others in buying and selling their dream homes, she mentored for a year with one of the top real estate teams within the company while earning her broker’s license. She then joined the St. Armands office as a broker-associate. Despite life’s struggles and personal losses, through perseverance and hard work, Michelle excelled in her career while also raising three children.
While traveling from Sarasota with a group of cardiologist friends to Egypt for a month, Michelle was asked to chair the American Heart Association Ball upon her return. This led her to reflect on her missed dream of becoming a doctor. A person of endless drive and curiosity, she continued in real estate while enrolling in college, earning two associate degrees, a bachelor’s degree, and a Master of Science in nursing. She graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program, became board-certified, and entered the Doctor of Nursing Practice program. She fulfills her humanitarian soul at Sarasota Memorial and Venice hospitals in palliative and hospice medicine while pursuing her passion for real estate with Michael Saunders & Company, assisting others with their real estate needs.
Having renovated several homes throughout Sarasota, on Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and West of the Trail, where she has resided for the past 20 years, Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and educated about the community.
As active and giving members of the Sarasota and Manatee County communities, Michelle and her cousin Coreen “Cori” Wilde, from the Venice office, have joined together to form The Wilde Group out of the St. Armands office. Continuing to honor their well-known automotive family legacy of excellence in the community, Michelle and Cori are honored to serve future generations in the same tradition, with integrity, attention to detail, and the professionalism that their clients have come to know, deserve, and expect.
