Michael Saunders & Company’s leadership team, agents and staff recently attended the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) Annual Conference at the Wynn Las Vegas. In all, the 27-member group was among the largest company contingents at the March 27-30 annual gathering of the world’s largest community of independent real estate firms.
Michael Saunders & Company was honored for its entries in LeadingRE’s 2023 Marketing Contest, receiving first-place awards in the Brand Builder, Consumer Materials and Video categories.
“Our Marketing Contest spotlights the creative ways our members promote their brands, engage with their communities and highlight their global relationships through LeadingRE. Our winners inspire us with unique designs, compelling content and strategic delivery,” said LeadingRE President/CEO Paul Boomsma.

During the conference, four Michael Saunders & Company leaders and agents shared their expertise and insights as members of panel discussions.
- Founder and CEO Michael Saunders served on a General Session panel, “Staying Power & Resilience: Preparing for the Future of Our Business.”
- Agent Heidi Lusk was a member of the Luxury Portfolio Summit panel, “State of the Real Estate Market: Finding Success in a Changing Market.”
- Agent Angela Adams served on an Agent Summit panel, “Proven Strategies for Winning Listings and Gaining Market Share.”
- Chief Marketing Officer Randall Graham participated in the MarTech Summit panel, “Diagnostic Mastermind: Overcoming Barriers to Developing and Distributing Great Video.” MarTech is the Marketing and Technology arm of LeadingRE.
In addition, company President Drayton Saunders appeared in the “Giving Back” video segment with leaders of several other LeadingRE-affiliated firms, highlighting the MSC Foundation’s support of local community service organizations.
Notable speakers at the conference included LeadingRE Chief Economist Marci Rossell, who discussed how the latest economic shifts are affecting the global real estate market, and Dave Garland, managing partner of Second Century Ventures, who talked about new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the real estate industry and people’s lives.
A longtime member of LeadingRE’s Board of Directors, Michael Saunders was named to another three-year term. She also serves as the U.S. representative on LeadingRE’s Global Advisory Board. Graham serves on LeadingRE’s Marketing Technology Advisory Committee.
