Join us for an exciting two-days of shopping the world – while never leaving Sarasota. Michael Saunders & Company is thrilled to present this global designer showcase at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. Admission is free to this two-day-only event.
The Souk is an international trunk show featuring designers and boutique brands from all over the world. It is a curated shopping event that evokes the atmosphere of a foreign market – a traveler’s paradise bursting with color, handcrafted merchandise, and soul. At The Souk you can shop the world in a day and discover quality products you have likely never seen in stores.
The nomadic artisans pop up everywhere – in private homes, hotels, clubs, ballrooms, storefronts, tents, and gardens. And now, they are in our backyard. This diverse show features textiles from the Far East; fine jewelry from India, Africa and Asia; and South Sea pearls from the hands of the divers who harvested them. We have traditional embroidery from Mexico, Manila, Uzbekistan and beyond; contemporary fashion made of high-tech Swiss performance fabric and handcrafted leather goods from Texas ranches to hillsides in Bali. The Souk showcases exquisite handbags, painted silks, hand-loomed baskets and throws, housewares, accessories and more. Individually, the brands at The Souk offer a variety of ethical trade and charity that make the world a better, more beautiful place – one show at a time.

There is FREE ADMISSION to The Souk. Entrance into Marie Selby Botanical Gardens will require the purchase of separate Selby Gardens admission tickets.

At Marie Selby Botanical Gardens | Michael’s on the Bay Ballroom. After parking, follow the signs leading to the Payne Mansion gate for entrance into The Souk.
