David L. Perry, MBA, MPA, is the Director of MS&C Commercial, a division of Michael Saunders & Company. With over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, David has an extensive background in the industry. He has a proven track record of leading large teams and developing groups of real estate professionals, having previously managed over 50 real estate associates in his role as Managing Broker. His significant experience encompasses land development, site acquisition, leasing, and commercial property management, providing him with a wealth of expertise in this position.
Before joining Michael Saunders & Company, David served for over 12 years as the National Director of Real Estate for Terra Realty Group. In that role, he spearheaded the development and lease-up of neighborhood strip centers ranging from 6,000 to 30,000 square feet. His responsibilities included identifying prime retail locations, negotiating leases, and overseeing project presentations to local governments.
David's career highlights also include serving as Site Acquisition Manager for Retail Site Experts, LLC, where he identified sites for and managed 7-Eleven convenience store developments throughout Florida. He was the Director of Land Services at Mainstreet Realty, overseeing site selection and development for 36 senior care facilities valued at $15-20 million each. Additionally, as Vice President of Real Estate Development at Baldridge Real Estate, Inc., he managed multiple development projects for brands such as Walgreens, Rite Aid, AutoZone, and various quick-service restaurants across state and international boundaries.
David's proven ability to manage large projects, site selection, negotiate contracts, and execute complex deals will enhance the capabilities and drive growth within the commercial sector at Michael Saunders & Company.
